تداولت حسابات وصفحات على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي خبرًا مفاده "قريباً في سناب شات ستتمكن من معرفة الذي قرأ رسالتك حتى لو فتح نصفها بالسحب".
الحقيقة:
الخبر غير صحيح، إذ لم تقم شركة سناب شات بنشره عبر مواقعها الرسمية.
من خلال البحث والتدقيق في المواقع التابعة لشركة سناب شات والمدير التنفيذي لها، إيفان شبيغل، تبين أنه لم يتم الإعلان عن خاصية قراءة الرسائل من دون فتح الدردشة حتى لو كانت بصورة جزئية.[1]
يشار إلى أن هناك حيلة يمكن استخدامها، وتدعى "التمرير نصف السريع"، الذي يمكن من خلاله رؤية الرسائل من دون معرفة المستخدم بأنها تمت قراءتها.[2]
