AFH Concludes Intensive Training as Part of the Digital Tools Support Program
Arabi Facts Hub (AFH) has launched a series of training workshops as part of its Digital Tools Support Program for media institutions and independent journalists. The program aims to empower participating institutions to effectively integrate digital tools into daily journalism practices and to produce in-depth investigations and reports.
The workshops provided in-depth technical demonstrations of the tools, accompanied by case studies for each, helping participants learn how to incorporate these tools into open-source investigations and data-driven reporting.
The training sessions included:
Searching via Meltwater and its application in journalistic storytelling, led by trainer Ibrahim Hilal.
Techniques for tracking ships and aircraft using FlightRadar24 and MarineTraffic, also led by Ibrahim Hilal.
Searching for people and faces via Epieos and PimEyes, delivered by trainer Jehad Oumer.
These trainings reflect AFH's ongoing commitment to supporting media institutions, enhancing their technical capabilities, and promoting the use of verification and digital analysis tools in combating disinformation and elevating the quality of journalistic content.
